What is rice noodle?

Rice noodles - made from rice flour and has the shape of rounded or flat translucent stripes, the width is 3 cm. From it you can cook soups, as well as main dishes and even salads. A very thin vermicelli, called funchose, is also prepared from rice flour.

Before you start cooking at home, remember that the noodles must first be soaked in water, always cold. Soaking time directly depends on the dish. For example, if you decide to cook soup, soak the noodles for a maximum of 5 minutes, then boil for 3 minutes. And if you decide to make a fried dish, then soak the noodles for at least 10 minutes.

Rice noodle recipe with vegetables and teriyaki sauce

For this dish you will need:

  • rice noodles (thin) approximately 150 gr,
  • 200 g of fresh mushrooms (preferably champignons),
  • 1 bell pepper,
  • 250 grams of cherry
  • 100 grams of freshly frozen green peas,
  • for wok (if you are going to cook in it) teriyaki sauce to your taste,
  • 4 tbsp. l of oil (note that olive is used),
  • gram 20 sesame seeds.

  1. Finely chop the mushrooms and fry a little in oil, after pouring it into the pan. Finely chop the cherry tomatoes and peppers.
  2. Soak peas in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  3. After the mushrooms are cooked, pour already chopped vegetables to them, add a pinch of salt.
  4. Next, pour peas into the container.
  5. Pre-boil the noodles (at least 3 minutes).
  6. Pour rice noodles into a colander and wash in chilled water.
  7. Then pour it into vegetables and pour it well over the sauce.

  • 150 gr. - rice noodles,
  • 250 gr - fresh mushrooms (champignons),
  • one small sweet pepper
  • 1 hot chili pepper
  • zucchini or 1 small zucchini,
  • 10 cm ginger slice
  • 3 small cloves of garlic,
  • 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • remember that vinegar (namely rice) add no more than 1 tbsp.,
  • a tablespoon of sugar (necessarily brown),
  • a couple teaspoons of starch
  • 3 tablespoons of refined sunflower oil,
  • sesame,
  • a bunch of cilantro.
  1. The noodles should be pre-soaked in cool water. Then boil it for 3 minutes. Cool and strain. Cilantro chop.
  2. Peel the champignons in advance and cut them into slices.
  3. We cut sweet pepper into thin plates.
  4. Remove all seeds from chili pepper and chop finely.
  5. Thin strips need to cut zucchini or zucchini. You can rub it on a grater.
  6. Ginger must be cut into small cubes. Peel the garlic.
